The Park.
The chalet is situated in an attractive, well cared for 36 acre park with excellent views over the English Channel in the small village of Kingsdown. It is approved by the Tourist board. There is car parking a short distance from the chalet. It is 6 miles from Dover, which offers cross channel ferries for continental visits, and two from the historic town of Deal. There are two castles (Deal and Walmer), a museum to visit and the City of Canterbury with its beautiful Cathedral is only 15 miles away.
The Chalet.
The accommodation is in an attractive two storey Scandinavian lodge style chalet. There is a lounge area with television, stereo, table and chairs for meals. There are cooking facilities with hob, oven, grill, microwave and fridge. There are four bedrooms which contain one double bed, one with two single beds and two single bedrooms respectively. It therefore holds up to six people. The bathroom has a bath, shower and heated towel rail. There is garden furniture Electric power is provided via a meter which accepts pound coins. Bed linen is not provided. There are duvets (one double and four singles) and pillows so all you need is sheets and covers. In the upstairs bedroom is a fouton so an extra two people can be accomodated in an emergency. No pets
